The difference between DRE and DRA series refrigeration oil

The new national standard GB/T 16630-2012 for refrigerating machine oil was implemented on January 1, 2013, replacing the previous GB/T 16630-1996.

The difference between mineral oil DRA and DRE under the new national standard:

DRA DRE
Refrigerant Gas
NH3 (ammonia)HCFC (hydrochlorofluorocarbons)
Lubricant groupingIncompatibleCompatible

Deeply refined mineral oilDeeply refined mineral oil
Lubricant typeSynthetic hydrocarbonAlkylbenzene, polyester oil, polyvinyl ether
typical applicationIndustrial and commercial refrigerationAutomotive air conditioning, domestic refrigeration, heat pump, commercial refrigeration including transport refrigeration

Focus:

u The refrigerant is partially compatible with the frozen oil, so that the two are mixed and have good fluidity at low temperatures.

u DRE is deeply hydrotreated and contains less wax than DRA
