The difference between DRE and DRA series refrigeration oil
The new national standard GB/T 16630-2012 for refrigerating machine oil was implemented on January 1, 2013, replacing the previous GB/T 16630-1996.
The difference between mineral oil DRA and DRE under the new national standard:
DRA | DRE | |
Refrigerant Gas | NH3 (ammonia) | HCFC (hydrochlorofluorocarbons) |
Lubricant grouping | Incompatible | Compatible |
Deeply refined mineral oil | Deeply refined mineral oil | |
Lubricant type | Synthetic hydrocarbon | Alkylbenzene, polyester oil, polyvinyl ether |
typical application | Industrial and commercial refrigeration | Automotive air conditioning, domestic refrigeration, heat pump, commercial refrigeration including transport refrigeration |
Focus:
u The refrigerant is partially compatible with the frozen oil, so that the two are mixed and have good fluidity at low temperatures.
u DRE is deeply hydrotreated and contains less wax than DRA
