R-407C is a non azeotropic mixture composed of HFC-32, HFC-125 and HFC-134a. Its properties have been deployed to very close to R-22, but have a temperature slip of 4.4 degrees, and the exhaust pressure is slightly higher than R22. R-407C can easily replace the R22 of the original refrigeration system, although the performance is somewhat lost. A lot of time as long as the refrigeration system components for some minor changes (such as the condenser area enlarge), can enhance performance, in addition to all secondary parts (valve, mirror, dryer etc.) will need to choose.
The large temperature slip limits the R-407C to the dry system, such as the roof unit and the temperature slip problem. R-407C is often considered as an alternative to upgrading the original system to a HFC system. Several new products are developed based on R-407C.
