Low GWP Refrigerant Is The Future Development Trend

Martinko said that the driving force of this transformation comes mainly from two aspects. One is the continuous escalation of global regulatory regulations. With the implementation of the EU Fluoride Gas Act (F-Gas Act) and the Montreal Protocol's Kigali Amendment, the global market is gradually adopting low GWP refrigerant solutions. Environmental regulatory requirements are becoming more stringent, and traditional hydrochlorofluorocarbon (HCFC) refrigerants are being phased out globally, and the demand for refrigerant replacement products is increasing. The breakthrough of this series is based on its HFO technology, which does not destroy the ozone layer and has a low GWP.
The Otto XL41 (R-454B) refrigerant is used in the York YLAA scroll chiller and is used in tubular homes and light commercial HVAC products sold in North America. The Otto XP40 (R-449A) refrigerant has been selected by Korea's largest supermarket chain for its refrigeration system.
