There are four types of fire extinguishing agent: 


1: water fire extinguishing agent = water + water fire extinguishing agent

2: Dry powder fire extinguishing agent:

3. foam fire extinguishing agent: an extinguishing agent capable of pre-dissolving with water and capable of producing fire-extinguishing foam by mechanical means or chemical reaction.

Low-fold foam fire extinguishing agent (foaming multiple of 20 times or less), high-fold foam fire extinguishing agent (expansion ratio between 20 and 200 times). Medium multiple foam fire extinguishing agent (between 20 and 200 times) high multiple foam fire extinguishing agent (200----1000 times)

Fire extinguishing mechanism: 1: Isolation 2: Cooling effect

Scope of application: protein foam fire extinguishing agent and fluoroprotein foam fire extinguishing agent are widely used in fire fighting in places such as petroleum storage tanks, large-area oil fires, flammable liquid production and processing devices, etc. Anti-solvent foam fire extinguishing agents are mainly used to save methanol. Ethanol, propanol, ethyl acetate and other general water-soluble flammable liquid fires and general solid material fires. Foam fire extinguishing agents are not suitable for use in fighting gases, metals, live equipment, and fires that can explode with explosive materials


4 gas fire extinguishing agent: including halogenated fire extinguishing agent, inert gas fire extinguishing agent

The halogenated alkane fire extinguishing agent has stopped production due to the damaging effect of the free radicals generated after use on the atmospheric ozone layer.

Alkane fire extinguishing agent: HFC-227EA, HFC-236FA, etc

Inert gas fire extinguishing agent includes: carbon dioxide fire extinguishing agent, nitrogen fire extinguishing agent

Extinguishing mechanism: dilution, can greatly reduce the concentration and contact of combustibles and oxygen, reduce the speed of combustion reaction, inhibit combustion

Use range: 1 flammable solid material smoldering fire

                   2 gas fire

                   3 electrical equipment fire

                   4 precision instruments, books, and communication equipment fire

Not applicable to fire fighting in crowded places
