The technical level of production enterprises is progressing rapidly.
According to their physicochemical properties, HFCs have been widely used in refrigerants (including mixed refrigerants of hydrofluorocarbons), aerosols, fire extinguishing agents, foaming agents, cleaning agents, and the like. At present, the technical level of professional development and production enterprises such as Juhua Group, Shandong Dongyue Chemical Co., Ltd., Sinochem Blue Sky Group Co., Ltd., Changshu Sanaifu Zhongyu Chemical New Materials Co., Ltd. and the fluorine chemical industry in the late 1990s The company is at the same level. The HFCs currently produced on an industrial scale include HFC-134a(Refrigerant Gas R134a for automible), HFC-32, HFC-125, HFC-152a(Refrigerant Gas R152a), HFC-143a, HFC-227ea, HFC-245fa(Blowing Agent R245fa) and HFC 236fa(Fire Extinguishing Agent R236fa ). In 2016, HFC-125 (pentafluoroethane) has the largest capacity, about 278,000 tons/year, accounting for about 30% of the total HFCs capacity.
Since 2014, the production capacity and output of HFC-125 and HFC-32 have increased significantly as HCFC-22 entered the phase-out process and the market demand for R410A(Refrigerant Gas R410a for air conditioning and heat pump) has expanded rapidly. The production capacity of HFC-125 and HFC32 increased from 144,000 tons/year and 125,000 tons/year in 2013 to 278,000 tons/year and 249,000 tons/year in 2016.
